Who we need

The Senior Marketing Analyst is a creative problem solver who is hungry for insights, trends, and data. You are comfortable digging into large datasets, statistical analyses and can digest performance insights to produce client-facing reports.

You will be responsible for creating client reporting, providing projections against overall business outcomes, and monitoring key performance indicators across all channels for your assigned client business units on a daily basis. This is a client-facing role on the embedded analytics team, working hand in hand with media and client performance team members to create actionable written reporting on outcome and trends and to ensure ongoing optimization against delivery and KPI’s.

Management & Innovation

  • Manage 1-2 team members responsible for tracking performance and recommending optimizations across digital media platforms (SEM, social, display and streaming platforms) as well as traditional and emerging media channels
  • Demonstrate continued intellectual curiosity by continuing to dig deeper into the data that presents itself to uncover new findings and root cause for trends
  • Understand available category and industry data to help articulate the impact of marketplace and consumer confidence on potential outcomes
  • Evaluate attribution methodology based on business use cases and outcomes
  • Seek opportunities to uplevel current reporting packages and predictive analyses

Performance Forecasting & Measurement

  • Collaborate with data scientist to understand statistical model(s) for client businesses and help articulate the impact of tactics on overall results
  • Engage with SVP level and above to ensure measurement planning is in place at the onset of each campaign, including goals and benchmarks for critical KPIs based on historical and categorical data
  • Understand client goals for business outcomes, immerse in data sources, and gain an understanding of what visualization and reporting packages measure
  • Evaluate new and existing data to create baselines, develop sensitivity analyses and establish goal KPI’s and outcomes
  • Understand data across a variety of KPI’s to create groupings for test panels
  • Utilize historical and categorical data to provide projected outcomes against a campaign across channels and business metrics
  • Provide clear information to data visualization team (spec) and communicate with internal development team on all data sources/feeds for automation

Business Outcomes Analysis

  • Deliver fact-based understanding and insights on the performance of client marketing across channels, tactics, audiences, sites and platforms, using media generated data, client provided data, syndicated research, and industry insights
  • Evaluate critical metrics such as audience reach, conversions, CAC (customer acquisition cost, CPS or follower), app downloads, customer/subscriber quality, and overall profitability across other data feeds from clients
  • Define and report key metrics against established goals and measurement plan to demonstrate the effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Partner with media strategists and planners to determine what’s working/what’s not for our clients’ go to market plans, including reading of test panels and overall business trends
  • Engage with internal and external teams, both verbally and in writing to communicate current performance and trends.
  • Generate deeper analysis including KPI deep dives, content performance analyses, and post-campaign analysis with 3-year trends.
