Who we need

Reporting to the SVP, Data Science & Analytics, the Business Analyst will be the linchpin in the collaboration between client services, research, and analytics teams to provide our clients with crucial insights to assist in the development, execution, and analysis of their advertising and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manipulating large data sets and analyzing marketing data to explain not only what the data shows, but the “why”, the root cause behind it. This is a client-facing role where you must be able to clearly articulate insights, as well as any trends in terms that are relevant to the client and their industry. This is an innovation role, where creative thinking and new ways to look at data are critical.

What you will do:

  • Analyze data to understand cause and effect and be able to engage with Client Performance and Media to generate recommendations against that data.
  • Articulate insights and findings to the clients, both in-person and in writing.
  • Take ownership of analytical projects and work intra- and inter-teams to ensure execution
  • Provide recommendations for new visualizations, KPIs, and manners of data storytelling.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly analyses on client business performance, all marketing initiatives and results.
  • Engage with data science tools and team members to support predictive analytics, and statistical analysis tasks.
  • Manage large data sets for various campaigns and utilize analytical skills to uncover trends and improve performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business Analytics or related major
  • 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, marketing, and/or visualizations
  • Strong Analytical Skills (navigate large data sets, proficient in Excel, Access, MarTech tools, research market trends and customer behavior patterns)
  • Experience in managing projects and people
  • Knowledge of martech and ad tech marketing and proficiency is a plus.
  • Passion for data, analytics and research
