Telly Gold: Changing How GameChanger Reached Customers

When COVID-19 blew the whistle on every level of athletic competition, from the pros down to Pee Wee leagues, it posed a real threat to GameChanger’s business. But when the going gets tough, the tough get going. In addition to a multi-tiered media strategy aimed at keeping subscribers engaged with the GameChanger app, our creative team developed over 70 digital ads, app store content, units for customized placements, and our award-winning explainer videos. This combination resulted in over 19 million coaches and parents reached producing a 66% increase in new app downloads Yo2Y and a 12% lower cost per acquisition.

“Now, more than ever, it is necessary to celebrate video work that reflects the top tier of our industry, such as Marketsmith Inc.,” says Telly Awards Executive Director Sabrina Dridje. “This year’s submissions reflect an industry that has returned to the important work of storytelling, one that has returned with a new perspective that values innovation, agility, equity, and tenacious creativity.”

Producing Work With a New POV

For us, leveling up everything we do is second nature. Whether it’s cinematic views of sporting events or a kid-led rap to promote COVID vaccinations to children in New Jersey, our in-house creative team designs with the client’s needs in mind and is consistently looking for the next out-of-the-box concept.
