The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance (NJDOBI) strives to ensure that every resident, regardless of circumstances, can access affordable health insurance. NJDOBI aims to support the uninsured and underinsured through GetCoveredNJ, so nobody is left behind.

In last four years, we’ve partnered on campaigns covering both the Special Enrollment Period (SEP) and Open Enrollment Period (OEP) to provide NJ residents with accurate information on when and how they can receive health insurance. We also were the agency that managed the launch of the program in 2020 which, while challenging due to the pandemic, had record success

Open Enrollment Period (OEP): Scaling Up and Driving Goals

The Open Enrollment Period (OEP) is the annual window where New Jersey residents can apply for health insurance plans. This is a crucial time for those who are uninsured or underinsured to secure coverage.

New Initiatives for This Year’s OEP:

In partnership with NJDOBI, this year's OEP aims to surpass last year's enrollment increase of 11%. To enhance the campaign's authenticity, the OEP has shifted from using stock images to a live photoshoot. This change underscores NJDOBI's commitment to fostering a more genuine connection with communities across New Jersey.

Impact Beyond Numbers:

While enrollment numbers provide an overview of the campaign’s success, NJDOBI’s mission goes beyond statistics. Each enrollment represents a NJ resident who can now feel secure in their healthcare coverage. It is more than meeting targets, rather improving lives and building a healthier, more inclusive state
