Back in the late eighties, when I read everything under the sun about being successful, the greatest companies in the world, and how to be happy, one of my reads was Donald Trump’s first book. At the time I read it, Trump was in huge financial trouble and everyone counted him out.

This particular group was very smart, diverse, and extraordinarily well rounded. The topic we were discussing was, “What are different Brands doing; how different is their online Brand persona from their retail; and what can we learn from the other Brands?”

What was absolutely astonishing to me was the economics of the event and the fact this event was a microcosm of every night in every city she has played around the globe.

No matter whom I told I was going to see Gaga, each said to me, “She played here last week,” “My cousin just saw her.” Even my eight year old son wanted to go.

I've observed a celebration of being female (Nike), good intentions falling into the stereotype trap (Bounce) and not recognizing that women comprise a multifaceted buying group (NFL, as we commented last week).
