Subject: NCDM 2008 Speaker Proposal Notification |
| Dear Davey Rosenbaum, |
| Thank you for the session proposal you submitted for The National Center for Database Marketing (NCDM) 2008 Conference to be held December 8-10, 2008 at the Gaylord Hotel and Resort in Orlando, FL. While we value the contribution of your proposal titled “The Next Mile,“ we could not include the session in this year’s program. |
| We greatly appreciate the time you took to submit a proposal and we encourage you to continue to submit your ideas for future events. This year we receive 42% more submissions last year. |
To increase the probability that future proposals are accepted, the following were some of the reasons why proposals were not accepted:
- The proposal was not substantial enough to determine content value
- The topic was too general or unoriginal (repeated year-to-year, too similar to other proposals, etc.)
- The company or the speaker is overexposed at NCDM or other DMA Conferences (repeated year-to-year or another proposal from that company was accepted for this year)
- There was another submission more appropriate that would help round out the track. We must take into account several criteria such as the topic, level and focus (B2B or B2C)
| Should there be a change in the program and we are able to include your session, we will definitely contact you. Please confirm via email to -----@the-dma.org if you would like to be placed on a waitlist. |
| You will receive notification for each proposal submitted. |
| Although we were not able to include your proposal in the program, there is still a way to take an active role at NCDM 2008. You are invited to participate in our online community, TheCenter@NCDM. Through blogs and forums you will be able to share your knowledge of database marketing. As an added bonus to helping the community, you will receive recognition on our website. |
| To join or to receive more information on NCDM’s online community please contact -----@the-dma.org. |
Sincerely,
NCDM Programming Team |
