| Marketsmith, Inc., a leading provider of multichannel marketing services has been retained by Amazon.com's Tools & Hardware Division to create focused contact strategies which speak to carefully segmented core markets and drives business direct to web, leveraging the brand as the ultimate retail internet experience. Three catalogs were created from the existing two, and among them offer a wide ranging selection of hardware and tools targeted to their specific marketplaces. All three books : Woodworker, Contractor and Home Improvement were designed to give the shopper the experience of walking down an isle in a retail store making comparison and shopping by brand, price or technical need unusually easy. Contractor and Woodworker are highly specialized and speak to the trade and enthusiasts, while the larger, more comprehensive 72-page Home Improvement book has relevance and appeals directly to the consumer market. |
