We are extremely proud to announce that our SVP of Research, Davey Rosenbaum, and our SVP of Planning, Michael Waksbaum, are celebrating 10 years of employment with Marketsmith, Inc.

Rosenbaum and Waksbaum have been integral members of our leadership team since the company’s early years. They are the quiet champions of our company’s DNA and the superheroes of our Brand promise. Today, we pause and take a moment from our busy day to recognize the enormous contributions each of them have made, not just to Marketsmith, but to the industry as a whole.

Michael Waksbaun – SVP of Planning

With an MBA from NYU and over 20 years of direct marketing expertise, Michael combines sage industry wisdom with a determination to challenge outdated practices. Michael is unmatched in his development and integration of PC-based relational databases, analytical techniques, planning and forecasting, efficiency management, and benchmarking.

The rigorous analysis Michael delivers underlies the optimization of over $100 million in media spend for our DRTV marketers. Michael has worked to directly improve marketing efforts for numerous companies, including Euro-Pro, Lillian Vernon, J.Crew, and Avon Fashions. A true-to-form perfectionist, Michael’s attention to detail and analytic skill set are unrivaled.

Davey Rosenbaum – SVP of Research

With an extraordinarily rich history of experience in marketing strategy, research and evaluation, and communications, Davey is a powerful, contributory asset to the breadth and depth of Marketsmith’s suite of services. Responsible for all client, competitive, primary, and secondary research, Davey’s meticulous and methodical interpretation of research findings feeds both internal and client marketing programs, as well as new business development activities.

Davey is a direct response pioneer, having launched the first online dial tests 18 months ago. To date, she has conducted 25 long-form tests and 15 short-form tests. Currently, she is introducing a new capability to conduct online focus groups. Davey’s research expertise is unparalleled, and her voice is integral to the communication of Marketsmith’s message.
