names to a carrier route that currently has 9, 8 or 7 mail pieces in
it will reduce postal costs for your company.

Once you've added names and shifted names from the 3 and 5 digit level
to the carrier route pre-sort level you will arrive at the postage
savings. Input the usual costs associated with order fulfillment, cost
of goods, book cost plus any additional processing costs associated
with add-a-name. The calculator will compare the contribution dollars
from the incremental demand resulting from the added names to the
postage savings. If the Contribution (after Postage Savings from add-a-name) is positive, it’s worth doing.
