For a company that is not an official sponsor of the Olympics, they are doing a great job of catching my attention. There is a commercial called “Voices-” I have seen it before, but they have been running it quite a bit during the Games and I just find it to be one of the best short forms I have ever seen. I am not sure whether it is where I have found myself in this stage of my professional career, because I want so badly for my children to want to dig deep and excel in their lives, or because I am so grateful for the women who have come before me. Either way, this spot makes me cry and something about Nike makes me believe they are a brand I want to be associated with. Even though I know so much about their history and questionable quality and ethics, I feel as though I am willing to forget it all. That is great advertising.
