The More Magazine July /August issue is one of the best so far this year. It is filled with inspiring and thought-provoking articles. First off I was struck with the story on Karen Mills, a talented woman who made choices on how to balance her work and family life. She chose to put her family first by moving from Wall Street to Maine, and then was able to fill a real need in her new home state which serendipitously brought her to the attention of the Obama administration and ultimately to SBA. Now she carries three cell phones.

And the entire publication this month is strong. Lesley Jane Seymour, Editor-in-Chief, in her letter, asks a great question after telling of very personal story “Have you found a connection with someone you’d given up on?” I like her style: it is unforgiving and put it out there. And her question for me has been sitting with me all day. She reached me simply by a letter in the front of the publication. It was stirring and made me think about others who have been in my life. On another front, there is a great article on about Kyra Sedwick, who I think is aging so gracefully. And there is also a strong section on books that are highly recommended. The picks were varied and looked really interesting. Great job this month, More Magazine!
